Laurel Run Playground Project

Through a Rural Access to Health and Healthy Active Built Environments grant from the Tennessee Department of Health, Hawkins County was able to enhance and expand the playground to include a broader age range of children with equipment that will allow them to be more physically active, will inspire learning, have fun, and to become more social by making friends. »Learn More

U.S. Flag Retirement Box

The U.S. Flag Retirement Box is located at the County Mayor's Office in Rogersville, TN. Flag Retirement is the term used to define the proper, dignified way of destroying United States flags that are no longer fit to serve our nation. Anyone who has a flag that is worn, faded, or tattered and you want to properly dispose of the flag, you can bring it to the County Mayor's Office.
